Hear a sample call
Click below to listen to a few minutes of a sample quit line call and find out what to expect.
The quit line operator will begin by asking you for your name, address, medical status and other
information important to the quitting process. Then the specialist quit coach will answer questions and concerns
you have about the cessation process and help you develop a quit plan that works for you. The entire
call lasts about 20 minutes.
