The Tobacco Cessation Resource Center (TCRC)
The Tobacco Cessation Resource Center (TCRC) is a program of the Washington State Department of Health Tobacco Prevention and Control Program that provides tobacco cessation-related training, mentoring and resources to health care providers, health delivery systems and those who educate health care providers. The goal of TCRC is to increase the number of health care providers who effectively intervene with their patients who use tobacco.
TCRC’s health care provider website offers comprehensive information on brief intervention techniques, details about the Washington State Tobacco Quit Line, instructions on how to order free patient materials for your organizations, information on the fax referral program, and tools for clinics, health systems and organizations who want to address tobacco use. The website also includes online trainings, CME courses and a location to request further assistance.
